What this means for Ward 2
Too many politicians appear at election time, shake hands, take photographs, and then disappear once the votes are counted.
That is not public service.
Ward 2 deserves a councillor who communicates consistently, explains decisions honestly, and remains visible and accessible throughout the entire term.
I have experienced difficult times. I know what it means to struggle, rebuild, and work hard for every opportunity. Those experiences taught me that leadership is not about status or rubbing elbows with powerful people. It is about showing up, doing the work, and never forgetting who you serve.
As your City Councillor, I will:
• Provide regular Ward 2 updates so residents know what is happening in their community and at City Hall.
• Explain my votes, major City decisions, and how taxpayer dollars are being spent in clear, understandable language.
• Establish clear communication channels so residents can raise concerns, ask questions, and receive meaningful follow-up.
• Support the establishment of an independent Auditor General to review City spending, identify inefficiencies, and strengthen financial accountability.
• Advocate for greater transparency in City contracts, procurement, and major infrastructure projects.
• Remain active, visible, and accessible throughout my entire term—not just during election season.
With nearly 10 years of experience analyzing financial statements, identifying waste, and improving profitability in the automotive industry, I understand that accountability requires more than promises. It requires measurable results, responsible oversight, and a willingness to ask difficult questions.
Residents should never have to wonder where their tax dollars are going or why decisions affecting their neighbourhoods are being made.
You will not have to wait until the next election to hear from me.
Government should serve the people—not itself.
I am not running for photo opportunities or a political title. I am running because I believe Ward 2 deserves a strong, independent voice at City Hall.
