The lowest bid is not always the best bid. Poor planning, unclear project scopes and weak oversight often lead to expensive change orders, delays and unexpected costs. Residents ultimately pay for those surprises.
My commitment is to ensure City projects begin with a clearly defined scope, transparent procurement and strong oversight so taxpayers receive the best value for every dollar invested.
